Terms of Service

Last updated 13 October 2026

These Terms set out the rules for using the CampusesOS website and describe how they relate to agreements with customer institutions.

1. Agreement

These Terms govern your access to and use of the CampusesOS website at campusesos.site (the "Site"). By using the Site you agree to these Terms.

Use of the CampusesOS platform by a university or organisation is governed by a separate written agreement or order form. If that agreement conflicts with these Terms, the agreement prevails for platform use.

2. Access and use

You may use the Site to learn about CampusesOS, try the interactive demonstration and contact us. Platform accounts are provided to customer institutions and the users they authorise; we may suspend access that breaches these Terms or the applicable customer agreement.

3. Customer responsibilities

  • Provide accurate information in forms and enquiries.
  • Customer institutions are responsible for the content they publish through the platform (notices, timetables, alerts and documents), for having a lawful basis to provide student and staff data, and for managing who in their organisation has access.
  • Keep account credentials confidential and tell us promptly about any unauthorised use.

4. Acceptable use

You must not:

  • attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Site, the platform or related systems;
  • interfere with, overload or disrupt the Site, including through automated scraping or form spam;
  • upload or transmit malware or unlawful, infringing, harassing or misleading content;
  • use the marketplace or messaging features to sell prohibited items or to impersonate a university office;
  • reverse engineer the software except where the law allows it.

5. Demonstrations and sample data

The interactive product demonstration on the Site uses fictional sample data. Names, figures, institutions and events shown there do not describe real people, customers or results, and actions you take in it are not sent anywhere.

6. AI features

The campus assistant generates answers from content published by the customer institution. Answers may be incomplete or out of date, and they do not replace official communication from the institution. Customers remain responsible for the accuracy of the content they publish.

7. Intellectual property

The Site, the CampusesOS name and logo, and the platform software are owned by CampusesOS or its licensors. Customer institutions keep ownership of the content and data they provide. You may not copy or reuse Site content except as needed to evaluate CampusesOS.

8. Disclaimers

The Site and its content are provided "as is" for general information. Descriptions of features and architecture explain how the product works and may change as it develops. To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

9. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, CampusesOS is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, or for loss of profits, data or goodwill, arising from use of the Site. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

10. Privacy

Our handling of personal information is described in the Privacy Policy.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed. Continued use of the Site after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

12. Contact
